Umberto Menconi is working in Banca IMI’s Market Hub as head of Digital Markets Structures, mainly focused in new markets infrastructure trends analysis and electronic business opportunities.
Before joining Banca IMI’s Market Hub in 2007, he was an Interest Rate Swap Trader at Sanpaolo di Torino London branch, before moving into Banca IMI Italian Government Bonds Trading Desk, where he gained extensive experience of long and short term part of the curve. From 2005 he became heavily involved in electronic trading platforms and specializes in fixed income electronic order execution. He holds a degree in Engineering Management at Politecnico di Milano University in Milan.
