Piebe Teeboom, Secretary General, FIA EPTA.
As Secretary General for the European Principal Traders Association (FIA EPTA), Piebe Teeboom leads Europe’s primary industry body for independent market making firms.
Working closely with FIA EPTA’s members and other market participants, he represents FIA EPTA towards public stakeholders in the EU and UK. As an expert on market structure and the prudential regulation of investment firms, Piebe regularly comments on industry issues in leading financial media and is a regular speaker at industry conferences.
Prior to joining FIA EPTA in 2016, he worked for the Netherlands Authority for Financial Markets (AFM). Piebe holds Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Amsterdam.
