Lisa Taikitsadaporn

Ms. Taikitsadaporn has over 20 years of experience with the FIX Protocol and its use for straight-through processing, covering pre-trade, trade, post-trade, clearing and regulatory reporting across different asset classes. Since founding Brook Path Partners in 2001, she has advised her clients on using FIX beyond just orders and executions into other functional areas that FIX supports today. More recently she has been consulting on using FIX to support regulatory reporting requirements for different regimes including Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II / MiFIR reporting regimes.

Between 2012 and 2015 the Brook Path team was commissioned to work with FIX and the Futures Industry Association (FIA) members to enhance the FIX Protocol to support OTC derivatives, and worked with the FIA to submit enhancement requests for FIX to support various different aspects of Dodd-Frank reporting requirements that affects their clearing members. The Brook Path team currently is supporting their clients’ and FIX Trading Community’s EMEA working groups and the Global Technical Committee in their efforts to enhance FIX Protocol to support ESMA MiFID II and MiFIR reporting regimes.

Ms. Taikitsadaporn also serves as a subject matter expert in FIX’s collaboration with the ISO 20022 standard. She also represents FIX Trading Community on the Accredited Standards Committee’s X9D sub-committee, ISO TC68’s ISO20022 Registration Management Group, TC68’s Working Group 5 (Semantics Working Group), TC68/SC4’s Working Group 6 (Classification of Financial Instruments (CFI) Working Group), and TC68/TAG 1 (Technical Advisory Group 1). She is also one of the liaisons representing FIX Trading Community in other standards groups such as the Object Management Group.

Ms. Taikitsadaporn earned her Master of Science in Finance from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts.
