Eric Knight, Head of Crypto Market Making Strategies, Jane Street & Founding Member, Crypto Trading Desk
Eric helps coordinate the desk’s infrastructure and is actively involved in day-to-day crypto trading and strategy development.
He joined Jane Street in 2001 as a trader on the floor of the Americas Stock Exchange. He got his trading badge at the age of 21, becoming one the youngest traders on the floor. He has since traded on many different desks at the firm, including ETF’s, Options, ADRs, and now Crypto.
Eric holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives on Long Island, where he grew up, and is an avid supporter of the New York Mets. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and twin toddlers.
