Ayesha Ghafoor, Principal, Capital Markets and Wholesale Policy, UK Finance
Ayesha Ghafoor is a Principal in the Capital Markets and Wholesale team at UK Finance. She represents UK Finance member views on secondary markets and post-trade policy with politicians and regulators at the international and national level, with a focus on the UK’s regulatory reform agenda.
Prior to joining UK Finance, Ayesha worked at Barclays Investment Bank, including Government Relations, as well as roles within the Operations division.
Ayesha graduated with an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS and a BA in European Studies and Spanish from Royal Holloway, University of London.
