Tom Duggan, Deputy Director, Securities and Markets, HM Treasury
Tom leads the Securities and Markets team at HMT, with responsibility for capital markets, the trading of financial instruments, financial markets infrastructure, market conduct and issues around LIBOR transition. Prior to this, Tom headed up the Prime Minister’s G7 and G20 office in the Cabinet Office. Tom has held various other positions, including as an adviser to the Executive Director at the IMF and World Bank in Washington DC from 2012-2015, and other HMT roles.
