Scott Atwell is the Manager of FIX Trading and Connectivity for American Century Investments, a leading investment manager committed to delivering superior investment performance and building long-term client relationships since 1958. Serving investment professionals, institutions, corporations and individual investors, American Century Investments offers a broad array of products across a variety of investment disciplines. Mr. Atwell developed American Century’s FIX system providing FIX connectivity to virtually all of the brokers used for their equity trading worldwide. He currently serves as a Director for the FIX Trading Community organization, the non-profit organization which manages the FIX Protocol. He has served as Co-chairperson of the Global Steering Committee for FIX Trading Community from 2004 through 2011, has served as Co-chairperson of the FIX Global Technical Committee from 1997 through 2005 and actively participates in several other FIX committees and working groups.
