Sapna Swaly, Sales Director, Vela Trading
Sapna Swaly is a Sales Director at Vela responsible for helping financial institutions in EMEA and APAC find cost-effective solutions to solve their challenges in the areas of market data, execution and automated trading. She specialises in selling some of Vela’s core solutions including market data feeds, feed handlers, execution gateways, direct market access and options trading platforms.
Prior to joining Vela in 2018, Sapna was Senior Sales Manager at Itiviti Group. During her 10-year tenure, she also held roles in sales engineering and technical support where she gained in-depth knowledge and a strong technical background in market data and multi-asset trading platforms whilst fostering relationships with clients and members of the trading community.
Sapna is a member of the FIX Next Generation Committee, which builds the next generation of leaders in the FIX Trading Community, and a member of Women in Listed Derivatives (WILD), promoting women in FinTech. She holds a MSci (hons) in Computer Science and Maths from Bristol University.
