Mathilde Le Roy is Head of Capital Markets Regulation at the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG).
She is responsible for monitoring and analysing regulatory developments in capital markets and market infrastructures, and for shaping AFG’s positions and recommendations on key topics such as EMIR, CSDR/T+1, MiFIR, BMR, FiDA. In this capacity, she works closely with peer trade associations and contributes to representing the asset management industry in discussions with national and European authorities.
She began her career at BNP Paribas’ head office, focusing on financial and banking regulation. She then spent four year at AMAFI, first in the legal department, then within the market activities teams, prior to joining AFG.
Mathilde holds a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
