Mark Gurliacci

Mark Gurliacci is the Senior Quantitative Trader at AllianceBernstein.  In his role, Mark has responsibilities for all algorithmic trading strategies and quantitative analysis for the Global Equities Trading desks. He manages the firm’s Systematic Trading and Auto-Routing (STAR) framework, is chairperson of the Automated Trading Oversight Committee and a member of the Brokerage Allocation, Swing Pricing, Liquidity Risk Management and Best Execution Committees.

Prior to joining AB Global Mark was Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Securities Division. In that role he published trading cost research and performed comprehensive trading cost analysis for the firm’s Institutional clients executing trades in the cash, portfolio trading, electronic trading and listed derivatives and advised clients on optimal trading strategies. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mark was Co-Head of the Strategic Market Analysis Division of the New York Stock Exchange with responsibilities for the exchange’s trading analytics and competitive analysis.
