Jimmy Kvarnström is Executive Director of Markets at Finansinspektionen, Sweden’s financial supervisory authority.
In his role, he leads the supervision and regulatory development of Sweden’s capital and securities markets. This includes oversight of securities firms, fund management companies and financial market infrastructures for trading, clearing and settlement, as well as market conduct, transparency and consumer protection.
Jimmy Kvarnström has extensive experience from senior leadership roles across the financial market ecosystem. His background includes market infrastructure, financial institutions and regulatory functions, with a particular focus on securities markets, market integrity, governance and regulatory development.
