Giulia Pecce, Associate Director, Head of MiFID Policy, AFME
Giulia joined the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) in June 2022 as Head of MiFID policy and runs the AFME MiFID Steering Committee. Before joining AFME, Giulia worked at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) where she covered various policy roles across the organisation, leading on, and/or contributing to, retail and wholesale policy files. Prior to joining the FCA, Giulia worked for an international law firm (M&A and Capital Markets) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Legislative Office).
Giulia has a law degree from Luiss Guido Carli (Rome) during which she completed a semester abroad at the University of Glasgow, School of Law, within the Erasmus Programme. She holds an LLM in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
