Geoffroy VanderLinden is a seasoned executive with over 20 years’ experience in financial services and regulatory reporting. Geoffroy joined MarketAxess in 2012 and was appointed Country Head, Netherlands in 2018. In this role, he looks after MarketAxess’ MTF and Reporting businesses based in Amsterdam, providing services to Continental Europe. Geoffroy is responsible for the management of business support functions, all operational aspects of the country, and for growing the business in the region.
Prior to joining MarketAxess, Geoffroy spent over 10 years with Euroclear where he held a number of roles including Product Manager for liquidity management and clearing services. Within this role, Geoffroy was tasked with managing relationships between UK and Irish based clearing houses and trading venues while also implementing clearing and settlement practices according to MiFID mandates.
As an active leader in the industry, Geoffroy serves as co-chair of multiple FIX sub-groups and served on various ESMA working groups during the drafting of MiFID II.
Geoffroy regularly appears on industry panels and is often solicited for expert comment from financial publications including Risk, Financial News and Waters Technology.
