Angus McDiarmid, Head of Interest Rate Derivatives, Tradeweb
Angus McDiarmid is Head of European Interest Rate Derivatives at Tradeweb, responsible for developing the suite of products available on the firm’s interest rate swaps (IRS) platform. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets, from operations through to sales trading in fixed income and derivatives.
Angus joined Tradeweb’s IRS Product Management team in 2017, after spending seven years with RBC Capital Markets, where he established and ran an Interbank Sales/Trading desk. Before joining Tradeweb, Angus was tasked with the construction and execution of balance sheet optimisation portfolio trades, with a particular focus on risk-weighted assets. Prior to RBC Capital Markets, he was head of the Interbank Trading desk at BNP Paribas.
Angus holds a BSc in Economic Geography from Newcastle University.
