IFLR: Mifid II reviews in 2023, part one
Thomas Helm, senior journalist at IFLR, looks out at the key themes for the year ahead in regard to the on-going Mifid reviews. The extent of the divergence between the UK and the EU is set to remain the overarching theme of the regulation into 2023. Matthew Coupe, director of market structure at Barclays, and co-chair of the FIX EMEA regional committee, spoke to Thomas to discuss how the different regulators are keeping an eye on each other’s outputs and how this will influence the review process.
