Nick Barnes is the Sales & Business Development Lead for MarketAxess’ Trax Repo business, joining in September 2018 to help enhance and grow the repo confirmation solution. Prior to this, he spent 17 years at Barclays Capital where he worked as a repo trader on the European Government bond desk and helped to set up and manage the financing and operations of an internal macro hedge fund. Mr. Barnes previously worked for ICAP as a repo and IRS broker and also as a Consultant at Skadi Limited, focussing on business integrity in financial markets for a range of firms including banks, brokerages and investment managers.
