Laurent Kssis, a 15-year veteran in the ETF and Delta one industry known for his expertise and work with ETF issuers, ETF market makers and investment banks. His experience includes HVB ( Issuer : Indexchange) where he spearheaded the ETF and Delta one desk, Société Generale (Issuer : Lyxor) where he created one of the biggest ETF market making franchise advising institutional clients and State Street Bank where he build the FX/Treasury department in continental Europe. Laurent joined XBT Provider AB which integrated into the Coinshares’ platform of Digital asset manager as CEO and Head of ETP & Product Development in January 2017.
He served as Non-Executive Chairman for Coinsilium group (NEX:COIN) in 2016, a private equity fund specialising solely in investing in early stage blockchain companies. Coinsilium became the first ever listed company funding blockchain technologies after raising £2.7m for its London IPO. He built up the ETF market making franchises for Labranche Structured Products in 2008 (the biggest US floor specialist and ETF on the NYSE Exchange) & Bluefin Europe in 2012, both highly rated ETF Fixed Income trading OTC venues. He is leading the digital asset management business of XBT Provider AB with the world first bitcoin Exchange Trading tracker and ether ETP listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange with $750m in asset under management. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Governance and Non Executive Directorship and a degree in Mathematics from the City University London.
