Simon Dove, Managing Director and Head of Liquidity, EMEA Instinet
Simon Dove joined Instinet in December 2020. In his role as Head of Liquidity for the EMEA region, he is responsible for the firm’s European liquidity strategy, which includes supervision of Instinet’s BlockMatch MTF, as well as, the firm’s market-leading liquidity aggregation strategy. Simon ensures that Instinet successfully anticipates changes in the liquidity landscape and delivers access to innovative opportunities for best execution among our buy-side and sell-side clients.
With over 20 years of experience in the securities industry, Simon has successfully worked with institutional trading participants across a variety of asset classes and venue types. Prior to joining Instinet Europe, Simon spent four years with electronic liquidity provider (ELP), Tower Research Capital. Earlier in his career, he served for six years with Sun Trading, and ten years at the London Stock Exchange. He is also a frequent industry speaker on subjects related to market structure, the trading life cycle, and liquidity.
