With a decade of experience in the electronic trading space, Chris joined Fidessa in 2016 to head up Americas Product Marketing for Fidessa’s Electronic Execution business. Chris’s role is to drive the latest innovations and product strategy for Fidessa’s growing suite of sophisticated electronic trading solutions including Fidessa’s Low-Touch OMS and the firm’s low-latency execution platform.
Chris also has extensive capital markets experience beyond electronic trading across equities, derivatives and prime services. Prior to joining Fidessa, he spent twelve years at Citi where he lead the North American Futures Electronic Trading business. Chris also spent five years in Morgan Stanley’s prime brokerage division before joining Citi.
Across a number of roles, Chris’s responsibilities have included defining and implementing strategy, and managing regulatory change. He has been a regular participant on conference panels and industry working groups, providing insights across both the equities and futures markets. He has previously served as a Board Member of the FIA Markets Technology Division and as a member of the NASDAQ Futures Exchange Business Conduct Committee.
Chris began his career in London before moving to the US in 2009. He graduated from Nottingham University in the UK with an engineering degree.
