Shreelin Naicker is the Departmental Head: OTC Markets, Issuers and intermediaries at the Financial Sector Conduct Authority. He has worked in investment banking for Barclays and the Johannesburg Securities Exchange before joining the hedge fund industry. He has worked in various roles including Quantitative Analysis, Market Risk Management and Structuring. He has a Masters in Finance degree focusing on financial engineering and a BSc (Mathematics, Computer Science) degree. His research involved Pairs Trading on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange. He also represents the FSCA at the Intergovernmental Fintech Working group and the Iosco Committee 7 on Derivatives.
