Rugi Gahramanli, Senior Business Development Manager, Equities Trading, LSEG
Rugi has over nine years of experience in financial markets, with a strong focus on equities trading and client coverage. Since joining the London Stock Exchange Group’s Equities Trading team in 2021, she has managed relationships with leading global banks and brokers across the LSE and Turquoise trading venues, specialising in cash equities, algo trading and broader market‑structure engagement. Her work centres on deepening client partnerships, driving platform adoption, and shaping product enhancements informed by direct trading‑desk feedback.
Before moving into trading, Rugi spent several years in LSEG’s Primary Markets division, contributing to IPO and follow‑on activity and supporting research and analytics initiatives across Capital Markets.
Beyond her commercial role, Rugi co‑leads the UK chapter of LSEG’s Women Inspired Network (WIN) and serves as Co‑Chair of the FIX NextGen Steering Committee, helping shape industry dialogue and support emerging talent. In 2025, she was recognised as a Rising Star at the European Women in Finance Awards organised by Markets Media.
