Stéphane Giordano, Chairman, AMAFI, Deputy Head of Public Affairs, Société Générale
Stéphane Giordano joined SG Public Affairs team in late 2013. He is currently deputy head of the department, responsible for Wholesale and Financial Markets Activities.
Stephane has been elected as chairman of AMAFI’s (the representative body for professionals working in the securities industry and financial markets in France) board in October 2014. He also sits on AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) Markets Consultative Commission, and is a member of ESMA Consultative Working Group for the Secondary Markets Standing Committee.
Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, Stéphane headed Paris based cash equity execution teams and was the Chairman of SG broker for Continental Europe.
Stéphane joined Société Générale in 1996 as an Inspector within the internal audit and advisory department.
Stéphane Giordano is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique.
