John Cosenza, Managing Director, Electronic Trading, Goldman Sachs
John is head of the Electronic Trading US Franchise Distribution team. In his role, he is responsible for delivering automated execution capabilities across equities, options and synthetic products to the firm’s clients as well as identifying client needs and creating unique, differentiated solutions. His responsibilities also include managing the content marketing of Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading. John serves on the Algo and Routing Working Group. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2016 as a managing director.
Previously, John was head of Electronic Trading at Cowen Group and a member of Cowen & Company’s Equities Operating Committee. Earlier in his career, he held roles in US Equity Trading at UBS, Robertson Stephens and Deutsche Bank.
John serves on the IEX Quality of Markets Committee.
John earned a BA in Finance from The College of William and Mary in 1998.
