Garrett Nenner is Head of Global Trading Product for Linedata. Previously Head of Trading Technologies for Evercore Investment Bank, Garrett offers unique expertise into advanced electronic trading and risk technologies from previous roles as a former quantitative high-volume portfolio manager/trader, advanced EMS/OMS product manager, and market structure expert.
Garrett has more than 18 years in roles spanning trading, trading technology, operations and complex sales. He has served as MD at Rosenblatt Securities Inc., specializing in Market Structure, Fintech, and Regulation, as MD of Global Markets & Market Structure at Momentum Trading Partners, and as Head Trader and PM at the hedge fund Millennium Partners for eight years, where he built the original trading desk and managed a large high-volume latency sensitive quantitative portfolio and its underlying technology. Later, he was recruited by Lehman Brothers to rebuild their EMS/OMS product acquisition for global clients. He is an accomplished commentator and presenter on market structure, trading, trading technology, cryptocurrency, blockchain and the effects of regulation on the industry in the US and abroad.
