Daniel Mathews, Co-Founder, BestExHub
Daniel Mathews is the co-founder of BestExHub. BestExHub is the largest MIFID II Best Execution report platform, showcasing regulatory reports in a standardised, machine-readable format from over 600+ firms. He is the former COO of Citi equities electronic trading with responsibilities for European market structure and regulatory insights. Previously, Daniel launched Euro Millennium, Europe’s first independent dark equities MTF and has also been a member of AFME Securities Trading Committee, Plato Partnership and was a non-executive director for Turquoise. Daniel began his 20 plus-year career in the City with Bank of America and has held senior positions at a number of investment banks and fintech firms including Commerzbank, Knight, NYSE and Thomson Financial.
Daniel’s understanding of electronic trading across both the buy-side and sell-side, regulation and technology has allowed him to build a unique solution as the industry adapts to a more transparent market.
