Vinod Jain, Senior Analyst, Capital Markets, Aite Novarica Group

Vinod Jain is a senior analyst with over 20 years of experience in the capital markets and supports the efforts of Aite Novarica Group’s Capital Markets team, focusing on institutional trading operations, post-trade processing, audit and regulatory compliance, and data management across equity, fixed income, and OTC derivatives. Mr. Jain is an expert at providing strategy and operations consulting, and he has worked in trade operations and conducted compliance audits.

Horacio Barakat is Head of Digital Innovation at Broadridge, leading the development of digital innovative solutions for capital markets. He is also the GM of the company’s DLT Repo platform. Most recently, he was VP of Corporate Strategy and responsible for the development and execution of the company’s blockchain strategy, including principal investment and organic product development activities. Prior to joining Broadridge in 2013, Mr. Barakat held a variety of roles in investment banking at Citigroup and Wells Fargo, providing M&A and capital raising advise to financial services and financial technology firms. Mr. Barakat received his Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College

Marina Kudryavtseva is Head of Exactpro’s new Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) division established in February 2020. Marina oversees all DLT-related work across the Exactpro projects. She joined the company over a decade ago as a QA engineer, shortly after graduating from the Kostroma State Technological University, and quickly rose through the ranks to become the head of one of the company’s eight business pillars. 

Prior to Marina’s involvement with DLT, she was instrumental in reinforcing the Exactpro expertise in the post-trade area, overseeing software testing projects on clearing and collateral management systems. Apart from project management, Marina’s other focus is thought leadership activities. She has given talks at multiple industry events, sharing insights on innovations in test automation as well as introducing the Exactpro tools to the capital markets industry representatives.
