Shakeel Ahmed, US eRates & Cross Asset Connectivity Product, J.P.Morgan

With 12+ years of experience in capital markets , is currently focused in eRates distribution and new product development in US Rates along with driving the connectivity strategy for eFICC within JPMC. Prior to joining the Product group Shakeel was heading the eFICC FIX connectivity team within JPMorgan and was instrumental in building out end to end automation workflows in the market making/execution space.

Mike Maloney, Proposition Director – Buy Side Trading & CEO, REDI Technologies

Head of Buy-side trading at LSEG, where he is CEO and Managing Principal of REDI Technologies, and is responsible for ATR & Autex. Michael joined REDI in 2013 and has since served in roles across support, account management, sales and sales engineering.

In his current role as head of Buy-side trading at LSEG, Michael is responsible for overseeing all aspects of LSEG’s buy-side trading operations within OEMS & Equities, while helping to develop and implement the broader OEMS strategy. He has extensive experience working with both buy-side and sell-side clients and has a deep understanding of the challenges that they face.

Adam Peralta, Head of US eRates Distribution and Product, Morgan Stanley

Adam Peralta is the Head of US eRates Distribution and Product at Morgan Stanley. A business executive with over 18+ years of experience, Adam is responsible for the US eRates franchise where he focuses on distribution, automated trading, product development, strategic investments and market structure.

Most recently, prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Adam was the Global Head of Rates Electronic Trading at Bloomberg, overseeing the electronic interest rates trading business and product development. He led a global team of product managers with a focus on developing new trading technologies aimed at digitizing and automating current trade execution practices.

Prior to running Global Rates, Adam was a Product Manager at Bloomberg and focused primarily on Interest Rate Derivatives, Clearing and Regulatory matters impacting the swaps market. Here, Adam was one of the key architects of Bloomberg SEF, one the largest electronic trading platforms in the industry for executing interest rates swaps. Additionally, Adam has held various roles across different verticals within Bloomberg including sales where he covered both dealers and large institutional buyside accounts.

Adam obtained a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.S. from Muhlenberg College.

Mukesh Manwani, Vice President, Product Management, State Street

Mukesh is a Vice President of Product Management within State Street Global Markets. With over 20 years of experience in capital markets, Mukesh has held various positions within business and technology organizations. In the last decade or so, he has been instrumental in transforming FX workflows by automating the end-to-end FX trade life cycle as part of various FX product offerings. He has led the implementations of electronic trading platforms, including FX aggregators, FX algos, and primary market making services. The FIX protocol has been a key contributor to the electronic trading offering to meet the goals. Mukesh has a great passion for technology and uses his passion and business acumen to build innovative products. Currently, he is also involved in projects that involve using Blockchain technologies to bring efficiencies to FX workflows and reduce the cost of trade and counterparty credit risk.

Mukesh holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from Boston University.

Ally Bernstein, Vice President, Product Manager, BlackRock

Ally Bernstein, Vice President, is a member of Aladdin Product Management team within the Aladdin Product Group, focusing on enhancing the ETF order taking process. Aladdin Product Management works in partnership with stakeholders to create the product vision, think commercially about the product, and enhance the Aladdin value proposition for its users. Ally earned a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

David Kirby is Managing Director, Global Head of Bank and Broker/Dealer Coverage & DTCC Consulting Services Securities Practice at DTCC.

Within this role, he leads DTCC’s Global Account Management team within Relationship Management and oversees all top-tier clients across the broker-dealer and custody segment with a focus on expanding relationships across the C-Suite and key decision makers.

Previously, David served as Executive Director, Americas Relationship Management & Global Account Management at DTCC where he was responsible for managing strategic client activities across all DTCC’s businesses.

David joined DTCC in 2013. Prior to that, he worked as a Managing Director and Co-Founder of, PolicyTrac Technologies, a startup technology firm focused on the development of insurance trading and case management platforms. He also held key managerial positions within the Infomediary and Client Services divisions at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.

David has over 25 years of experience in the financial and technology industry with expertise in global relationship management and sales, custom application design and development, trade management systems, and business development. David graduated with a BBS in Marketing from the University of Miami.

Jon Butler, CEO and co-founder, Velox

Jon is CEO and co-founder of Velox, a fintech firm enabling Capital Markets developers to build software faster. Prior to founding Velox, Jon was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he held roles as Head of Equities Trading Technology and Head of Operations Technology. At GS, he focused on the electronification of the Equities market, the implementation of Dodd-Frank and the large-scale industrialization of the bank’s Operations function.

Jon was also an MD at RBS where he co-headed Markets Technology and was responsible for building a cross-asset flow trading platform that could be used both internally and directly by clients. Jon began his career in the late 90’s as developer at NatWest Markets in Hong Kong, building Index Arbitrage systems and holds a BSc in Software Engineering from University of Birmingham, UK.

Jim Kwiatkowski, Chief Executive Officer, LTX

Jim has more than 30 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Transaction Sales at the London Stock Exchange where he was responsible for leading sales of the foremost electronic trading platform for foreign exchange. Prior, he served as Global Head of Transaction Sales at Refinitiv, encompassing both client relationship management and new business teams for the buy-side and sell-side client segments. Prior to Refinitiv, Jim was Global Head of Transaction Sales at Thomson Reuters, which he joined as part of the acquisition of FXall, where he was also Global Head of Sales, through its successful IPO.

Ignatius John, Vice President, Broadridge Financial Solutions

Ignatius John, considered by many to be an IT visionary, is recognized as a pioneer in the use of the FIX Protocol for post-trade. As Global Trading Strategist at asset manager AXA Rosenberg, Ignatius implemented a complete post-trade solution in 2008 using the FIX Protocol. This accomplishment was highlighted in a leading industry journal on Trading, and was a precursor to the industry’s adoption of FIX for post-trade. In various roles at AXA Rosenberg over two decades, Ignatius managed business strategy, product and technology development. He also worked for State Street Capital Markets on real-time trading technology. Ignatius has a proven track record of implementing functional improvements to the investment process, from pre- to post-trade in the US, Asia, and Europe, to increase workflow efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance portfolio returns.
