Head of European Surveillance, Nasdaq

Joakim Strid is Head of European Surveillance for Nasdaq and is thereby responsible for surveillance of issuers, participants and trading practices across asset classes and markets in the region. The surveillance activities comprise i.a. monitoring of disclosures and referrals of suspected market abuse but also listing qualifications. Joakim is a member of the Swedish Securities Council and the Nasdaq Stockholm Listing Committee.

Prior to joining Nasdaq in 2005, Joakim had worked as Compliance Officer and Head of Middle Office within securities trading, investment banking and asset management.

Björn Svensson, Head of Nordics, EuroCCP

Björn Svensson, Head of Nordics at EuroCCP, has overall responsibility for client relations in the Nordic region. He has held this position since February 2010, having previously been CIO at Euroclear Finland and Euroclear Sweden. Björn has more than 25 years’ experience in the Nordic financial market and holds an MBA from Handelshögskolan, the Stockholm School of Economics.

James Wylie, Director of Technical Services, Corvil

James currently heads up Corvil’s rapidly growing International Sales Engineering team, specializing in Electronic Trading, Cyber Security & IT Operations. James’s previous roles at Corvil include Technical Product Marketing, where he worked closely with industry analysts and sales teams, articulating the value and technical benefits of Corvil; and as a senior member of Corvil’s Sales Engineering team, helping the world’s leading stock exchanges and financial institutions gain a deep understanding into the performance of their complex IT and business systems.

James has a background in Network Consultancy, holds an Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering and is a frequent blogger and public speaker.

Christer Wennerberg, Product Manager Equities, SEB

Christer Wennerberg joined SEB in 2002 to lead the technical implementation project for SEBs direct market access platform. He was also responsible for SEBs algorithmic trading project. Before joining SEB, Wennerberg spent 15 years with The Stockholm Stock Exchange (NasdaqOMX), where he held various positions, including Head of System Development (Exchange Systems) and Vice President Fixed Income.

Mr Wennerberg holds an M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Mr Wennerberg is also Certified European Financial Analyst from SFF/Stockholm School of Economics.

Jesper von Zweigbergk, SVP, Head of Derivatives, Oslo Bors

Senior Vice President Derivatives and ETPs, Oslo Børs since 2008. Prior to that sales at Saxo Bank. During his time at Oslo Børs JvZ has been involved in numerous projects driven by regulatory and technological change. Amongst others setting up a separate trading venue, Oslo Connect, and introducing straight through processing system for OTC equities derivatives in Norway. Right now JvZ and his colleagues are preparing Oslo Børs and their systems for MiFID II. MSc in Business and Economics, Lund University and currently studying EMBA at SAID Business School, Oxford University.

Roger Storm, Deputy CEO, and Head of Risk Operations and Business Development, SIX c-clear AG

Roger T Storm is Deputy CEO, and Head of Risk Operations and Business Development at SIX c-clear AG, one of Europe´s foremost clearing service providers. He has held a range of senior positions in international banking and financial market infrastructures in a career spanning over 27 years.

Before joining the SIX Group he was engaged as Executive Director and Head of European Bank Relationship Management at EBA CLEARING, EU’s leading payments and clearing service provider. There he was part of the development of the European Instant Payments initiative, the ISO20022 implementation, the CPSS-

IOSCO´s PFMI compliance program as well as the implementation of the Single European Payments

Area. Prior to this he was the company’s Chief Risk Officer, and in this capacity established a new enterprise wide risk management framework at this systemically important financial infrastructure, overseen by the ECB and a college of six central banks.

Before this he worked for the Nordic bank SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken). He there held positions such as Managing Director for SEB France, Head of European Regulatory Issues, Head of Strategic Projects and Planning, as well as global Head of Cash Management and Trade Finance products. He has been engaged as a leader in a range of M&A deals, business makeovers, international board assignments (SWIFT, BGC, EBA CLEARING, and the Swedish and European Bank Associations), project and risk management-roles. His track-record includes bank start-ups in Finland and Japan, business divestments in France and Germany, transaction and clearing service product development, as well as enterprise risk management framework implementations.

He holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), has a degree in law and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Economics, with advanced studies in Managerial Economics, from the University of Stockholm. He has also attended a range of specialist and executive courses at IMD in Switzerland and elsewhere.

Having worked for several years in countries such as Germany, France, UK, Japan and Scandinavia, Roger Storm is multilingual and fluent in English, Swedish, French and German. He is married, with two grow-up children, a Swedish citizen and lives in Zürich/Switzerland.
