Julien Nebenzahl is President of eToro Patrimoine

Julien Nebenzahl est Président d’eToro Patrimoine, la filiale française d’eToro dédiée aux produits d’épargne. Au cours de ses trente ans de carrière, il a exercé la profession de gérant financier et analyste technique ainsi que des fonctions de direction générale ou de conformité en matière d’épargne. Diplômé de l’Université de Nanterre Paris X en économie monétaire et de l’ESCEM en management des entreprises, il est le coauteur de L’analyse technique, pratiques et méthodes aux éditions Economica.

Mathilde Le Roy is Head of Capital Markets Regulation at the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG).

She is responsible for monitoring and analysing regulatory developments in capital markets and market infrastructures, and for shaping AFG’s positions and recommendations on key topics such as EMIR, CSDR/T+1, MiFIR, BMR, FiDA. In this capacity, she works closely with peer trade associations and contributes to representing the asset management industry in discussions with national and European authorities.

She began her career at BNP Paribas’ head office, focusing on financial and banking regulation. She then spent four year at AMAFI, first in the legal department, then within the market activities teams, prior to joining AFG.

Mathilde holds a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Deniz Mace-Jones serves as the Global Head of Rates & Credit Product and Electronic Distribution at UBS

Deniz is bringing over 15 years of expertise in Fixed Income markets amid an era of rapid electronic transformation. With a deep understanding of evolving trading protocols and dynamic market structures, Deniz plays a pivotal role in shaping the future strategy for Rates & Credit at UBS, alongside spearheading various technology initiatives within the bank, including AI.
She is a dedicated mentor for junior talent, particularity with apprentices. Deniz is also a passionate advocate for neurodiversity, raising awareness and inclusion of diverse cognitive perspectives to drive better decision making and problem solving.
Before joining UBS, Deniz honed her skills in Fixed Income electronic & voice Sales at Citi and Deutsche Bank, and began her career at Bloomberg, specialising in FX in Emerging Markets.

Patrice Aguesse, Head of the Market Regulation Division, Regulatory Policy & International Affairs Department At Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)

He represents the AMF at the Market Standing Committee of ESMA which encompasses financial markets and post-markets topics.

After a year at Banque Hervet, he joined the trading room at Sovac Bank in January 1992, where he was actively involved in the bank’s refinancing and hedging activities. He returned to the Commission des Opérations de Bourse (COB) in June 1995, initially as a project manager in the Debt and Derivatives Division of the Issuers Directorate, before becoming head of this division in April 1998, with additional responsibility for banks and insurance companies in 2002. From 2003 to 2005, he was seconded to the European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee, where the MiFID I and Prospectus Directives were negotiated.

In 2005, he rejoined the AMF as head of the listed companies regulation division within the Regulation and International Affairs Department. In September 2011, he was seconded to the Treasury Office in New York to monitor the regulation of US financial markets, in particular the implementation of the Dodd Frank Act on derivatives, asset management and technical developments in the stock markets.

Patrice AGUESSE holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Philippe Rizzo, Institutional Sales at Optiver

Based in Amsterdam, Philippe Rizzo is an Institutional Sales at Optiver, specializing in cash equities and ETFs. With over 15 years of experience in global markets and trading, he partners with institutional clients to deliver efficient, data-driven execution.

Prior to joining Optiver, Philippe was a Sales Trader at Instinet in Paris, focusing on high- and low-touch execution. He previously held the same position at Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked with institutional clients across equities, ETFs, and derivatives.

Philippe began his career on the buy side at Comgest in Dublin, where he helped build a centralized trading desk and develop the firm’s electronic trading capabilities.

Anne Gaignard, Chief Executive Director, Place des Investisseurs

Anne Gaignard has 40 years of experience in the financial markets sector. Anne started her career at Société Générale before joining Euronext for nearly 25 years where she was Head of Development and Head of Client Relations for Western Europe. Then she spent about ten years supporting the development of start-ups in the financial sector and sustainability particularly related to climate and biodiversity. Since January 2024 Anne is Chief Executive Director of Place des Investisseurs. In addition, from June 2022 until May 2025 she has been independent board member of a private listed company and currently she is board member of the European association Better Finance.

Jaafar Amrani – EMEA Head of Liquidity Strategy for Equities, BNP Paribas CIB.

He leads equities‑market‑structure advisory, designing liquidity solutions and steering regulatory engagement and implementation. He holds master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and NEOMA Business School.

Iris Lucas, Head of the Data Intelligence unit at AMF,

Iris Lucas, holding an engineering degree from the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECE Paris, France), also earned a Ph.D. in Computational Finance from the University of Le Havre (France). Since January 2021, she has been serving as the Head of the Data Intelligence unit within the Data and  Market Surveillance department at the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).

Her academic journey, combining engineering and computational finance, laid the foundation for her career focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance financial sector regulation and oversight. Over the years, she has gained an in-depth understanding of how to effectively apply AI technologies to support regulatory functions.

As the Head of the Data Intelligence unit, Iris leads efforts to identify practical use cases for AI within the financial regulatory domain and oversees the development and implementation of AI-based solutions to assist the AMF in its supervisory roles.
