Sakeena Lalljee, Director Business Development, Aquis Exchange PLC

Sakeena is a Director of Business Development at Aquis Exchange, the subscriptions-based pan-European equities trading venue and technology firm. She joined Aquis in 2013 ahead of the Company’s successful launch in November of that year, and is part of the team that has grown Aquis from a start-up project to a listed Company with over 5% market share of pan-European equities trading.

Sakeena started her career at Instinet before spending five years at Chi-X Europe and, subsequently, BATS Trading (now trading as Cboe Europe). Her experience spans Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Compliance and Market Data.

She is also a founding member of the FIX NextGen steering committee, which aims to increase participation from younger members of the FIX community and opportunities for those individuals to develop their knowledge of the FIX Protocol. She holds a Certificate in Investment from the CISI, for which she received an Outstanding Achievement Award, and a BA in English from Queen Mary, University of London.

Alex Ings, Co-Chair European Consolidated Tape Working Group – Equities Fixed Trading Community, Executive Director, Execution Services, Client Access Product Manager, UBS 

Alex Ings is part of the Execution Services Product team at UBS, based in London. As Client Access Product Manager, Alex owns the global, cross-asset client interface for Execution Services, and is responsible for improving clients’ experience of the execution stack.

Alex is an active member of the FIX Trading community, where he is co-chair of the Equities Consolidated Tape data governance working group, a founding member of the FIX NextGen working group, as well as taking part in the Global Equities Committee and Outage Communication working groups in Europe.

Alex holds an MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.

Charlotte Decuyper, Co-Chair France Subcommittee, FIX Trading Community, Consultant, Redlap Consulting

Writing market structure research since 2017, Charlotte has co-authored a number of reports and commentaries covering the impact of market regulation on equities and fixed income markets, the impact of the rise of fintech in capital markets, as well as the impact of the move to ESG and sustainability in asset management; focusing on how technology can help address current challenges, improving capital markets both for participants and investors.

Charlotte was quoted in a number of financial articles such as The Trade, L’Agefi, IFLR Practice, among others.

Prior to writing research since 2017, Charlotte held roles at Reed Exhibitions and The Boston Company Asset Management in Boston. Charlotte holds a Master of Science from Montpellier Business School (France) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Salem State University (US).
