Joseph Collery, Head of Trading, Comgest

Joseph Collery joined Comgest in 2017 and works as Head of the Trading Desk. Comgest is an independent, international asset management group with 8 entities globally including Paris, Dublin, Hong Kong, and Boston with an AUM of circa Eur30billion. Joe leverages his almost 20 years industry experience to navigate the new MiFID II world having previously held the positions of Head of Trading & Securities Lending at Anima Asset Management and COO at Dexia. In both former roles Joe was responsible for the establishment of the trading desk and the implementation of multi asset OMS & EMS.

Emma Quinn, Chairman of the Board, FIX Trading Community, SVP – Global Co-Head of Equity Trading, Equity Trading AllianceBernstein

Emma Quinn was appointed Global Co-Head of Equity Trading in 2014. Previously, she served as head of Asia-Pacific Trading, head of Asia-Pacific Fixed Income and Australia Equities Trading, and head of Trading for Australia and New Zealand. Quinn joined the firm in 2001 as a senior trader. Prior to that, she worked as an equity trader at AMP Henderson Global Investors. Quinn holds a BBus in finance and business law from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is currently a Director of AllianceBernstein Australia Limited, AllianceBernstein Investment Management Australia Limited and Chairperson, FIX Protocol Limited; an advisory board member of Quorum 15; a member of the Markets Advisory Panel for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission; a member of Asia TraderForum; and a member of various Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association committees. Quinn was also co-chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of the FIX Trading Community from 2012 to 2016.

Simon Steward, Director & European Head of Equity Trading, Capital Group

Simon Steward is a Director & European Head of Equity Trading at Capital Group. He has 22 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 20 years. Prior to joining Capital, he worked in the client relationship division of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sunderland University. Simon is involved in many different industry initiatives including the position of Deputy chair of the Investment Association’s Buyside Trading Committee & has recently joined the board of the Plato Partnership. Simon is based in London.

Neil Joseph, Managing Director, European Head of Equity Trading, J.P. Morgan Asset Management

Neil Joseph, Managing Director, is European Head of Equity Trading for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.  An employee since 2002, Neil was previously responsible for the Program Trading Desk.  Prior to joining the Trading Desk in 2010, Neil led the Trading Technology Team having initially worked within Investment Banking Technology.  Neil obtained a BSc (Hons) in Business Computing, was listed in the Financial News 40 under 40 Rising Stars in Trading and Technology (2012) and was the Co-chair of the FPL EMEA Regional Committee 2012-14.

Alison Hollingshead, Chief Of Staff, Trading Platform & Core Technology, Man Group

Alison Hollingshead is Chief of Staff, Trading Platform & Core Technology, a role she took up in March 2019. Alison helps manage a broad, 200-person department that is responsible for the delivery of the technology supporting the entire trading lifecycle from order management and execution, to settlement and regulatory reporting, as well as the infrastructure that underpins the whole firm.

Alison joined Man GLG in 2004 as a Trading Systems Technologist, before becoming an Equity Trader in 2006, specialising in algorithmic and program trading in European markets. In 2011, Alison became the Business Risk & Strategy Manager for Man GLG. In 2015, Alison was appointed Head of Investment Management Services at Man Group and, in this role, she ran a change management and business management team reporting into the Group COO and led the MiFID II implementation globally for the firm. In 2018, post the MiFID II delivery, Alison became Head of Transformation, leading a change management team across the front office technology landscape.

Alison holds a BSc in Mathematics with European Languages from University College London.
