George Kledaras, Principal Owner, Limni Trading

George Kledaras is a serial FinTech entrepreneur in trading systems and networks. George started his career in financial technology in 1989 working as a software engineer building trading systems.

He is well known throughout the technology world as the founder, in 1996, of Javelin Technologies Inc. At Javelin, he was recognized as the leader in electronic trading software, especially through his initiative in creating the first high-speed messaging FIX engine built entirely in Java called Coppelia. Javelin was the winner of the Deloitte & Touche Shooting Star award for New York’s fastest-growing technology company. He is also widely credited for introducing Java to Wall Street for serious trading applications.

In 2004, Kledaras co-founded FIX Flyer to help firms manage the speeds involved in algorithmic trading, including emerging markets and wealth management. He remains a director. And from 2015 to 2021, he ran Atreyu Group, a broker dealer providing innovative Direct Market Access (DMA) and risk technology for highly automated trading the US equity and options markets to over hundreds of traders. In 2021, George started Limni Trading, registered with Velocity Clearing, to help data driven and highly automated traders access the markets through APIs.

George earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and graduate studies in Mathematics (M.S.) from the Courant Institute at New York University. He also has leadership positions in several startups and a major educational institution.

Ashley Kryshtalsky, Global Head of Product, Workflow Technology, Virtu Financial

Ashley Kryshtalsky is the Global Head of Product on Virtu Financial’s Workflow Technology team for the Triton EMS platform.  She is the subject matter expert on automation and multi-asset trading in the Triton EMS platform and is responsible for new product initiatives, owning the product lifecycle from initial concept to delivery.

Ashley joined ITG in November 2018 as a Director of Workflow Technology prior to the firm’s acquisition by Virtu in March 2019. She has over twelve years of experience in the electronic trading space, previously having worked at Instinet holding coverage, sales, and product roles.

Ashley has a Bachelor of Science in biology and a sociology degree from SUNY Albany.

Mark Watters, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, AxeTrading

Before co-founding AxeTrading, Mark had over 17 years’ experience at Bloomberg, including senior roles in Fixed Income electronic trading. Mark has specialist experience in selling and implementing bond auction systems, trading platforms, and primary and secondary market Fixed Income trading systems in developed and emerging markets. He has worked with national treasuries, issuers, and the Buy- and Sell-side implementing Fixed Income electronic trading in many countries around the globe. Mark brings additional in-depth Fixed Income electronic trading experience to the AxeTrading team.
