Brian Devers, Managing Director, AiEX and Workflow Solutions, Tradeweb

He is responsible for developing the firm’s automated trading tools and other solutions supporting clients’ execution needs across the trade life cycle. Brian joined Tradeweb in 2005 as a product manager, responsible for developing trading functionality for institutional rates and credit products as well as Tradeweb’s electronic wholesale trading platform at Dealerweb.

Prior to Tradeweb, Brian spent more than 12 years at Bloomberg LP where he ran the Applications Specialist Team and worked on developing fixed income analytics and trading systems.

Brian holds a B.A. from The College of New Jersey.

Erik Barry, Director, Exchange Sales & Product, FMX

Erik Barry is a seasoned financial services professional with over 22 years of experience in the industry. Erik currently serves as Director, Exchange Sales & Product at FMX Futures Exchange, where he focuses on participant onboarding and business development across a wide range of institutional clients. Additionally, he serves as FMX’s Lead Ambassador on the FIA’s DMIST Working Group. Prior to joining FMX Futures Exchange, Erik worked at Credit Suisse, where he most recently was Director, Head of Prime Derivative Services Client Platform. He also held various positions at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan. He received a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.

Don Byron, SVP – Head of Global Industry Operations and Execution, FIA

Through this role Byron focuses on developing and implementing solutions related to clearing operations, execution technology, cybersecurity and market structure issues across the global cleared derivatives industry. Recent initiatives included an industry taskforce on modernizing the listed derivatives workflow which led to the creation of the Derivatives Market Institute for Standards in 2022.

Byron came to FIA from Fidessa/ION Markets in Chicago where he served as Product Manager for Fidessa’s derivatives global trading platform. Before that, he worked at Barclays Investment Bank in New York as a Product Manager within the Agency Derivatives Clearing product management group. Prior to this, he spent several years at Northern Trust within the Investment Outsourcing Division. Byron got his first taste of derivatives markets 25 years ago as a runner at the Chicago Board of Trade, carrying order information to the appropriate trading destination.

Byron holds a bachelor’s degree from Lewis University in management information systems and an MBA in Finance from Northeastern University. A lifelong Chicago White Sox fan, he lives in the Chicago metro area with his wife and son.

Kamalesh Mani, Senior Vice President, Citi

Kamalesh has more than 20 years of experience in engineering electronic trading systems for the Capital Markets space across Fixed Income and Equities. He is presently the Global Head of eTrading Execution in Spread Products Technology at Citi. He also runs the Common FIX initiative that provides one-stop multi-asset trading access to clients via FIX and is a member of the FIX Orchestra Working group.

Antony Macchiarulo, Assistant Vice President, Financial Services Operations & Assistant General Counsel, SIFMA

Mr. Macchiarulo oversees services provided to member institutions related to Shortening the Settlement Cycle to T+1, Unclaimed Property Rules, Clearing Firm Initiatives, and Proxy Regulation. Mr. Macchiarulo is focused on major industry regulatory and legislative issues such as risk and liability mitigation, infrastructure, business resiliency and operating compliance. He has also played a significant role in industry projects like Bulk Transfer. During his career at SIFMA, Mr. Macchiarulo has held several member-facing leadership positions. Currently, Mr. Macchiarulo is heavily involved in the T+1 initiative.

Mr. Macchiarulo graduated from New York Law School and is an attorney in New York.

Olukoya Dehinsilu, FIX Onboarding Americas Lead, Goldman Sachs

Olu is responsible for overseeing electronic trading client onboarding for Equities and Options in the region. He plays a crucial role within the Global Banking and Markets Business, ensuring seamless onboarding of clients for both traditional and low-latency offerings. Olu’s responsibilities also include managing client migrations to the state-of-the-art Atlas trading platform. Over the past year, he has spearheaded workflow and automation advancements to enhance the speed and quality of client onboarding and migrations.

Olu joined Goldman Sachs in December 2016 and rejoined in June 2019. He was promoted to Vice President in 2021 and subsequently became the FIX Onboarding Americas Lead. Prior to that, Olu worked at Morgan Stanley as a transaction reporting analyst from July 2018 to May 2019, where he made significant contributions to the firm’s CAT reporting build. Before venturing into banking, Olu gained valuable experience as a software engineer at Experian Credit Services and as a Telecoms Engineer/Project Manager.

Olu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Redeemer’s University in Nigeria and a Master’s in Business from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School.”

Hershal Shah, Vice President, Global Banking & Markets, Client & Market Solutions – FICC and Equities, Goldman Sachs

Hershal is responsible for post-trade derivatives transformation initiatives on the Client & Market Solutions team at Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2022, Hershal held product management and strategy roles across financial services and capital markets firms including Edward Jones, IHS Markit and Moody’s Corporation, with focus on innovation and market structure transformation that leverages emerging capabilities like AI, machine learning, digital assets, and distributed ledger technology. Hershal holds a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business

Joseph Lo, Head of Enterprise Platforms, Broadridge

Joseph Lo, Head of Enterprise Platforms at Broadridge, leads the firm’s platform and innovation initiatives.  A technologist by trade with a background in software engineering, Joseph advances Broadridge’s global software platforms to accelerate transformation in corporate governance, capital markets, as well as wealth and investment management.

Joseph is a co-creator of BondGPT, the fixed income industry’s first generative AI platform that reduces hours of manual work into a matter of minutes, and unlocks trillions of dollars of liquidity in the process. He also holds a patent for a machine learning algorithm. Joseph leads Broadridge’s initiative to rapidly scale the use of generative AI capabilities internally and externally.

Joseph brings two decades of software and product development experience at financial technology companies to create innovative technology-based solutions to solve client challenges in financial services. He also serves as Broadridge’s Global Co-Chair of Lead for Next, an employee resource group where early career professionals can thrive professionally and build bridges across generational divides.

Russell Abramson, AMRS Head of Futures, Options, OTC Clearing, Global Head of Client Solutions, Futures & Options and OTC Clearing, Bank of America Securities

Russell is Head of the Americas, regionally responsible for the Futures and Options and OTC Clearing business. Also, as the Global Head of Clients Solutions, he is also responsible for BofA’s eTrading and eClearing platforms.

Russell joined Bank of America in May 2012 and has been with the firm for 11 years. During his tenure at BofA, Russell has revamped the firm’s electronic trading infrastructure to include new, state of the art technology providing our business and clients a fully functional global trading platform. He has also been pivotal in advocating for the build out of a brand new algorithmic trading and TCA (Transaction Cost Analysis) platform.  We’ve implemented 9 new trading algorithms and have increased the volume of the previous platform by more than a factor of 20.  He has also evolved the MERCURY® clearing platform offering to develop over 20 new tools including a brand new report writer, reporting inbox & scheduler, transaction management layer, allocation platform with visualizer, product database, pre-trade risk limits platform and real time reconciliation engine.  Lastly, he has strategically driven the build out of a complete transactional database which will provide the foundation of future trade analytics and advance machine learning algorithms, transaction reporting compliance and business analysis.

Prior to his role at BofA, Russell spent 13 years at JPMorgan. In his most recent role at JPMorgan, Russell was the Global Head of Electronic Trading Services (ETS), Head of client solutions for the Americas and was in charge of JPMorgan’s eTrading strategy for their Americas Futures & Options business. In addition, he was a member of the Sales & Marketing team. During his tenure at JPMorgan, Russell was previously the technology head of their Futures electronic trading platform.

Russell currently serves as a lead ambassador on the FIA Derivatives Market Institute for Standards (DMIST) committee and sits on FIA Tech’s board of directors.

Russell has an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College and a BA in Mathematics from Binghamton University.
