Based on the advice of UK Chief Medical Officers, the FIX Trading Community are carefully monitoring the novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV situation for all attendees of the EMEA Trading Conference. The UK risk levels have recently been raised from low to moderate and we are taking advisory precautions both in the lead up to the conference and on the event day.
In light of the recent outbreaks of the coronavirus in China and Europe, we are asking delegates who have visited an affected area (click here to view countries) or been in contact with someone from a recorded outbreak area within 14 days of our event, to refrain from attending the conference and contact their local medical authority for more information.
If you feel unwell, have flu-like symptoms do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. In the UK call NHS 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people. If you are based outside the UK, please consult your local government or medical authority for the latest news and updates.
If you are unclear of the affected areas or symptoms of coronavirus, please visit the official UK Government website for the latest updates and advice.
